Known for making her debut in Bollywood with a very unconventional transformation, Bhumi Pednekar celebrates her birthday today. She starred alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ for which she gained around 12 kgs.
She, later on, continued to star in satirical comedies focussed on social issues like ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’, ‘Saand Ki Ankh’, ‘Bala’ and so on.

Bhumi is also known for being passionate towards environmental activism and even started a campaign called ‘Climate Warrior’ to raise awareness for issues like global warming and climate warrior.
On the occasion of her birthday, she shared a picture of herself passionately eating her birthday cake and wrote, “As I turn a year older, all I can think of is how fortunate & grateful I am. To be surrounded by such love and support. To have such incredible people in my life.”

She expressed her thoughts regarding all the things she is grateful for and further added, “To be able to follow my passion and have a job that I love. To have the love the audiences give me. She also shared that she feels overwhelmed with all the love she has received from everyone, “With everything happening around us, am so so overwhelmed by the love that everyone has shown… Thank you so much,” she concluded.
