Vineet Kumar Singh is celebrating his birthday today! The actor debuted in the Bollywood industry through the 2002 film ‘Pitaah’. He, however, received acclaim for his roles in films like ‘City of Gold’ and as Danish Khan in Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur franchise. He was also praised for his performances in films like ‘Bombay Talkies’ and ‘Ugly’.
In recent years, he debuted as the protagonist in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Mukkabaaz’, a sports drama about a struggling boxer Shravan Singh. Vineet trained for 2 years for the project and received heavy praise for his performance. He also won the award for Best Actor (critic’s choice) at the 64th Filmfare Awards. He starred in the recent OTT release ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ as well alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Pankaj Tripathi.
He has also debuted into the digital space by starring in web series like ‘Bard of Blood’ (2019) and Betaal (2020).
