It was an auspicious night in the television industry as the Dadasaheb Phalke Awards for 2020 got organised amidst proper safety measures in the times of the pandemic. Many prominent faces from the Television industry were made part of the event and got honoured by prestigious awards because of their utmost dedication and hard work.
Popular television Jodi consisting of Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan who portray the character of Naira and Kartik in the show ‘Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ brought home the award for ‘Best Jodi’.

Meanwhile, Surbhi Chandna and Sharad Malhotra took home the award for Best Actress and Actor for their portrayal in the supernatural show Naagin 5.

Other honorable awards from the award ceremony include Best Production House 2020 to Directors, Production, Popular Icon award to Rupali Ganguly for Anupamaa and Dynamic Actor award to Sudhanshu Pandey for Anupama as well.
Since two of his produced shows, i.e. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Anupamaa won big at the awards, Rajan Shahi was also present at the function looking ecstatic as ever.
