Actor Akshay Kumar revealed a massive update about his film ‘Ram Setu’. He uploaded a picture that declared that the film’s shoot has officially begun. The actor posted a picture with both his leading ladies i.e. Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha as they posed in front of an aircraft to fly off to Ayodhya for their ‘Mahurat’ shot.
As he posted the picture, Akshay captioned it, “A special film, a special start…Team #RamSetu off to Ayodhya for the mahurat shot. And so the journey begins.

Once they reached, the actor posted another picture that featured the clapperboard of the film and two priests seeking blessings on the first day of the shoot. The caption read, “आज श्री अयोध्या जी में फ़िल्म “रामसेतु” के शुभारंभ पर भगवान श्री राम का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त हुआ। जय श्री राम!”

Apart from this, streaming service Amazon Prime Video also announced that they are turning producers for the first time for ‘Ram Setu’ through a recent post. The film is scheduled for a 2022 release.
