Today is south sensation Dhanush’s 37th birthday! The fans are super excited and have taken the internet by a storm by trending #HappyBirthdayDanush on Twitter. The actor has been nicknamed ‘Bruce Lee’ of Kollywood due to his intensive action sequences in the film which have a touch of martial arts in them.
It was in 2011 that Dhanush gained nationwide prominence through his song ‘Why This Kolaveri Di?’ which was a massive hit that year. The actor non only sang the song but also penned down the lyrics of it. The video of the song on youtube has over 234 million views by now.
The actor debuted into Bollywood alongside Sonam Kapoor, with the critical hit ‘Raanjhanaa’, directed by Anand L Rai. He is gearing up to work with the director again with his film ‘Atrangi Re’ with newbie Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar.
