The Megastar of Telugu cinema, Chiranjeevi is celebrating his birthday today. There is more to him than being just an actor as he has experience with being a producer, singer, dancer, voice artist, TV show host, and so on. He set foot in the industry as he debuted with the film ‘Pranam Khareedu’. He has starred in more than 150 films till now. Apart from being a phenomenal actor, he is well respected in the industry for being a self-made person.
He has earned many names for himself like ‘The King of Tollywood’, ‘Angry Young Man’, ‘Megastar’, ‘Micheal Jackson of Tollywood’ and so on due to his skills of being an all rounder in the industry and having blockbuster hits under his name. He is also one of the very first people among the Indian Film industry to have made an appearance in the Academy Awards (Oscars) ceremony in the US back in 1987. He also participated in the Cannes Film Festival as a tourism minister during the year 2013.
On the work front, he last appeared in the 2019 film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which was a historical action film and based on the life of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, an Indian independence activist. The movie had a box office earning of 240 crores. He will soon be seen in the upcoming film Acharya alongside Kajal Aggarwal.
