The entertainment industry suffered a heavy blow as the lockdown got announced. Many projects had to be delayed owing to the safety precautions during these dark times of the pandemic. However, things began to finally look up as theatres got reopened during October in some states with 50% capacity and many films opted to get released on OTT platforms.
Therefore, the Diwali season this year had many big releases like multi-starrer Ludo, Chhalaang and Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari. The reviews for the same are also in!
Let’s take a look at these Diwali releases:
Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari is a film based in the 90s. Starring Diljit Dosanjh, Manoj Bajpayee and Fatima Sana Shaikh in lead roles, the film deals with the concept of private investigations that take place when a family chooses a suitable bride/groom for their child’s marriage. By the looks of the trailer, the film looked like the perfect family entertainer which will ensure lots of laughter.
Here is how the audience received the film:
Watched #SurajPeMangalBhari and I swear to not miss anything by @diljitdosanjh ❤️ what comic timing, what dialogue delivery, what command over craft. Leaves you wanting for more. His chemistry with @BajpayeeManoj is more crackling than @fattysanashaikh. Full review out soon!
