Mumbai: Powerhouse performer Vidya Balan, who was recently bestowed an honorary doctorate for her contribution to Indian cinema and for empowering women across the country, has now been immortalized in a Chaplin avatar !
The actress yesterday inaugurated “Chaplin Lines”, a special exhibition that honored and commemorated Charlie Chaplin, the legend of satire and comedy celebrating 100 years since his screen appearance and on the occasion was gifted a customized Chaplin avatar of herself.
Vidya Balan was special guest at the event where over 200 celebrated cartoonists and caricature artists displayed their pieces of work in the legend’s honor.
