Sumeet Tappoo’s latest album, Legacy, was in collaboration with his mentor and iconic bhajan singer Anup Jalota. The album marked a celebration of their 40-year guru-shishya bond and showcased compositions that spanned classical, devotional, Sufi, and contemporary genres.
Prior to that, Tappoo released another music album, Dil Pareshan Karta Hai, in collaboration with legendary lyricist Gulzar and composer Pt. Bhavdeep Jaipurwale.
While nothing has been finalised yet, both Mietta and Tappoo expressed enthusiasm about possibly blending their musical worlds.
